Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF)
The ICS filter cartridge can remove greater than 95% of the diesel particulate from vehicle, marine, locomotive, off-road, and stationary diesel engine exhausts. The filter cartridges can be cleaned by DOC fuel injection, gas burners, electrical heating, or hot air injection. The light weight of the ICS filter cartridge (1/4th that of silicon carbide wall-flow DPF’s) allows regeneration in a fraction of the time and fuel consumption of competing wall-flow DPF’s. An addition fuel saving results from the comparatively low backpressure of the ICS filters.
